Singing Lessons
Singing is a learned skill. It requires patience and dedication to regular practice. When a singer creates the right kind of muscle memory in their body, the musical act of singing flows more naturally and feels more beautiful.
Most students come to voice lessons knowing how to sing, but unaware of the spaces of tension in the body and mind that might hinder them from sounding their best. Kylah helps singers identify these specific places of tension and works in techniques to help train the body to release this tension.
Using and combining vocal techniques from classical pedagogy and contemporary commercial music, as well as proprioception and somatic healing exercises used in physical and emotional therapy, Kylah will create an individual curriculum specifically addressing each student’s vocal needs. Singers will be taught how to align the concepts of breath, tension release, and the creation of resonance.
Over time, this alignment will produce strong, agile, and controlled singing, while reducing the stress and tension that can often coincide with singing or performing.
Discover personalized 1-on-1 vocal lessons designed to match your unique voice, fostering the development of technique, confidence, and artistry in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere.
